1.15.21 – Impeach Me Once, Shame on You. Impeach Me Twice, Shame on Me.

January 15, 2021 / Christopher Unterberger / Leave a comment

History was made
When Trump faced impeachment.
Historically
He faced a deed
Of which his fore-peers had succeeded.
And so did he,
Or so we’d think,
Until his people screamed and shouted
At the Capitol.
And now we know
Mr. Trump has been indicted.

October 23, 2020 / Christopher Unterberger / Leave a comment

8.10.20 – The Windy City is Windy

August 10, 2020 / Christopher Unterberger / Leave a comment

Wind whipping at the tailcoats

Another police-juiced murder
Is what caused it—so I hear.
Chicago may be the epicenter
Of the rioting, I fear.

6.2.20 – Up Your Arsenal

June 2, 2020 / Christopher Unterberger / Leave a comment

The Dear Leader’s pledge
To unleash military
Is fucking stupid.

6.1.20 – Palpitations

June 1, 2020 / Christopher Unterberger / Leave a comment

The Nation’s heart: it tremors
In convulsing, pulsing manners
That echo the boots of broken men
And the rhetoric of the liars.
