10.30-11.5: Brahm’s Feast

An ancient wisdom whispers
“Go. Do not be afraid
For He is with you.”
Still,
Waves of fear crash from the Heavens,
Charged from an omnipotent God.
He cast us down from our seats
At the dinner table of his angels
Where sat golden plates laced with treasure
That we could not eat, for we were full.

Now we scramble along cave floors
Searching for snakes to eat.
